We are seeking intelligent, competent and creative individuals for unpaid
internship positions, full or part-time (work study may be available for law
students attending institutions who fully fund the internship; please check with
your financial aid office). Please also check with your school about credit,
stipends or grants for "public service" legal internships. This is a unique
opportunity and learning experience for those interested in women’s rights and/
or Plaintiff's employment discrimination issues and practice, as we are the only
specialized "boutique" law firm in the city dedicated to these specific public and
private policy issues.
Ideal candidates have the ability to multi-task, outstanding telephone rapport
skills and a sense of humor (or irony). Excellent literacy skills and legal
background a plus, but not required. Hours are flexible.
Tuckner, Sipser offers rotating volunteer internships on a per semester basis.
Internships are available for fall, spring and summer sessions.
Please email a cover letter of interest along with any other relevant
documentation to Jack Tuckner at jtuckner@womensrightsny.com
