Tuckner, Sipser proudly announces the appointment of Alexandra Wilson to the firm as a law clerk!
Alexandra is a respected and accomplished lawyer and barrister in England and Wales, called to the Bar in 2018.
Alexandra recently graduated with honors from Columbia Law School’s prestigious LL.M. program and is working at Tuckner Sipser under the supervision of the partners on a variety of civil rights matters, including women’s rights in the workplace, employment discrimination, illegal retaliation, and wrongful termination, while she awaits the results of the New York bar exam.
Alexandra is passionate about equality and diversity within the legal profession and is a vocal campaigner for better treatment of ethnic minorities within the law and beyond. Her first book, ‘In Black and White: A Young Barrister’s Story of Race and Class in a Broken Justice System’ was published in August 2020.
Alexandra works with the attorneys at Tuckner Sipser to advocate for employee rights for women and other protected classes of people who have been subjected to discriminatory or illegal retaliatory treatment in the workplace, including client cases involving:
Alexandra graduated from the University of Oxford with a BA (Hons) in 2016. She then graduated from BPP University in London with a Graduate Diploma in Law in 2017 (Commendation), and with a Master’s in Law (Distinction) in 2018.
Alexandra was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2018, after being awarded the most prestigious scholarship granted by the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple – the Queen’s Scholarship. Alexandra has dedicated her career to date to fighting inequality and injustice; practising in criminal, extradition and family law, and she is eager to advocate for clients in workplace civil rights cases.
In 2023, Alexandra graduated from Columbia University with a Master’s in Law (Higher Honours).
