Why My Practice is Focused on Disability Discrimination and Wrongful Employment Practices
All too frequently, employers feel that they can treat employees however they wish. With those who suffer from a disability, this is not the case.
The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) protects workers against many forms of discrimination. Employers cannot refuse to hire the disabled, or promote the disabled, if “reasonable” accommodations can be made. Employers subject to the ADA do not have a choice – if reasonable accommodations can be made, they must be made.
My practice is also focused on other areas of wrongful workplace conduct, including other forms of discrimination, harassment, and wage and benefits violations. If you have been the subject of wrongful workplace conduct, please call our firm and learn about your workplace rights.
