OVERVIEW
Paralegal / Executive Assistant to Jack Tuckner
Jewel Coulter brings hands-on commitment to advancing women’s rights and supporting survivors – work that has shaped her academic and professional path from the start. A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Law, Criminal Justice, and Society, Jewel pairs strong legal research and writing skills with a genuine dedication to the people behind every case.
Much of Jewel’s experience has centered on creating safer communities and empowering individuals through education and advocacy. As a SAFE Leader with the University of Pittsburgh’s Office for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, she coordinated more than 300 educational programs and prevention initiatives, reaching over 10,000 students. The role called for the same qualities she brings to the firm today – careful coordination of complex schedules, clear communication among everyone involved, and the steady follow-through that keeps important work moving.
Jewel’s background also includes serving as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for Civil Rights Law, where she supported instruction on constitutional doctrine and civil liberties, conducted legal and policy research, and helped facilitate discussions on difficult legal questions. Across her work with community organizations, advocacy groups, and university leadership, she has earned a reputation for initiative, attention to detail, and dependability.
What sets Jewel apart is the way she approaches the human side of legal work. Trained in trauma-informed communication, she meets every client with empathy and professionalism, mindful of the sensitive and often painful experiences that bring people to the firm. For Jewel, supporting clients isn’t simply a matter of process – it’s about protecting their trust, dignity, and confidence as they navigate some of the most difficult moments of their working lives.
Jewel combines capable legal support with compassionate, client-centered service – helping the firm’s clients move forward while supporting a busy, growing practice running smoothly.
