Dayna Evans of NYMag.com writes about Bernie Sanders’ question to Republicans following the debate rife with blatant misogyny.
If you were a witness to last night’s Republican primary debate, you may have caught some riveting discussions on everything from “illegal immigrants” to how the GOP directly communes with their Lord and Savior. It was a fascinating spectacle of idiocy, to say the least. But one of the few talking points that was largely brushed over is how the GOP plans to advocate for women. Bernie Sanders, the Democratic party’s Independent nominee, tweeted what the candidates weren’t saying but many of us were thinking:
Does any GOPer care about whether or not a woman, rather than the gov’t, should make decisions regarding her own body? #DebateWithBernie
— Bernie Sanders (@BernieSanders) August 7, 2015Will Fox and the Rs talk about pay equity for women workers who make 78 cents on the dollar compared to men? Waiting. #DebateWithBernie

Neither of Sanders’s comments got a response from Donald Trump, but the “businessman” did call Megyn Kelly a “bimbo” hours after the debate, so that speaks for itself.
