Women make 10% of the world’s income but own only 1% even though they perform 66% of the world’s labor. Talk about pay inequality.
Of every international dollar of aid spent, only 2 cents go to girls.
70% of the world’s out of school children are girls.
Girls who are able to stay in school and get a good education marry later, have fewer and healthier children and make more money.

When people are struggling for answers to break the cycle of poverty in our own country, the answer may lie in supporting girls to stay in school.
